The meanings of terms with capitalized first letters are defined under the following conditions. The following definitions must have the same meaning whether they are used in the singular or plural.

Booking Process
Customers must give correct and comprehensive information about their relocation needs in order to reserve our services. Any modifications to the booking must be made as soon as feasible. Failing to submit accurate information or make modifications in a timely may result in extra costs or delays.
Payment
Before the relocation, we must get complete payment for our services. We take cash, credit cards, and bank transfers as payment. If the consumer cancels the reservation, a cancellation fee may apply. The cancellation charge will be calculated based on the notice provided as well as the expenditures paid by Shift Buddies up to that time.
Liability
We take every measure to transfer your items safely and securely. We cannot, however, be held liable for any loss or damage that occurs during the relocation unless it is caused by our carelessness. Consumers are recommended to obtain their own insurance to protect themselves against any losses. In the event of loss or damage, the client must tell us in writing as soon as possible.
Delays
We make every effort to ensure that your relocation goes as planned. Nevertheless, unexpected events like traffic or harsh weather may create delays. In such circumstances, we will keep you updated and collaborate with you to minimize any disruption. Shift Buddies is not responsible for any loss or damage caused by a relocation delay.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us as soon as possible. A cancellation charge may apply depending on the amount of notice provided. We retain the right to cancel the booking without penalty if we are unable to finish the relocation due to conditions beyond our control, such as harsh weather.
Parking and Access
Clients are responsible for ensuring that our moving vehicle has proper access and parking. Any additional expenses incurred as a result of a lack of access or parking will be charged to the consumer.
Things that are not permitted
Some things, such as dangerous chemicals, explosives, and illicit narcotics, are not permitted to be carried by Shift Buddies. Consumers must ensure that certain things are not included in their transfer.
Acknowledgment:
By engaging Shift Buddies for moving services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the following terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.
Acceptance:
By hiring Shift Buddies for your moving services, you accept that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the accompanying terms and conditions.
Quotes:
Shift Buddies will provide you with a quotation for your moving services based on the information you provide. The quotation is valid for 30 days after it is issued. If the scope of the job changes, the quotation may be revised. The quotation provided is simply an estimate, and extra charges may apply if the actual work required exceeds the scope stated in the quotation.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all items to be moved are correctly labelled and catalogued, and that all delicate items are properly packed. It is also the customer's obligation to verify that the moving truck has proper access at both the pickup and drop off sites, as well as to notify Shift Buddies of any specific requirements or conditions that may affect the move.
Shift Buddies requires full payment prior to the relocation. Cash, credit card, and bank transfer are all acceptable payment options. Shift Buddies retains the right to impose an s for late payments or cancellations.
Shift Buddies take all precautions to avoid damage to the premises or property during the relocation. Nevertheless, if damage does occur, Shift Buddies will take accountability only if it is the result of our carelessness. Clients are urged to notify Shift Buddies of any existing property damage prior to the relocation.
Shift Buddies has the right to retain goods until full payment is received. After 90 days, we have the right to sell or dispose of any unclaimed or abandoned goods.
Staff Abuse:
Shift Buddies has a zero-tolerance policy for any type of abuse or violence directed towards our employees. Any such conduct will not be condoned and may result in the relocation being terminated without reimbursement.
Liability Limitation:
If Shift Buddies is held liable for any loss or damage, our responsibility is limited to the lesser of the cost of fixing the damaged item or the entire worth of the items carried.
"AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" Disclaimer:
Shift Buddies offers its services on a "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no explicit or implied claims or guarantees about the performance of our services or the information, content, materials, or products included in our services. Our customers utilize our services entirely at their own risk.
Shift Buddies reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Customers are advised to review these terms and conditions periodically for any changes.
